Definitionsno specific standardattributesmeasurementsheight

top bar height

The vertical elevation from a building's base to the floorplate of its highest bar.

The height of a building's uppermost bar is the vertical distance from the building's base to the top of the floor slab of the highest floor holding a bar or similar drinking establishment specializing in alcohol (such as a tavern, brewpub, sports bar, wine bar, tiki bar, or beergarden).

The bar determining this measurement may be an independent establishment, or it may be a component of a hotel, restaurant, theater, or other usage.

This data field is intended to enable queries of bars located in high places; therefore it applies mainly to tall buildings and towers, and is normally not assigned when the bar is located on a ground floor.
