strict definition
no biking allowed
A policy prohibiting bicycle riding within a defined area, while walking a bicycle may remain permitted.
A prohibition on riding bicycles means that riding bicycles within the defined area is not allowed. Often in such cases it is permitted to walk bicycles. This usually applies to streets, pathways, and areas containing pathways such as parks and gardens.
Riding is the prohibited activity. A rule of this type can still permit a person to dismount and walk with the bicycle.
No skateboarding restricts a different wheeled activity. The bicycle-riding restriction alone does not state every access rule for other forms of movement.
