Saudi district code

A Saudi district code identifies an urban district in the national address register maintained by Saudi Post, SPL.

The register described here uses an eleven-digit composite identifier: a leading 1, a two-digit region component, a five-digit city component, and a three-digit district sequence. The complete identifier distinguishes the district; the final sequence alone does not.

The region and city components supply geographical context. This national-address identifier belongs to a different scheme from the NCAR code for a region or governorate.
