Definitionsno specific standardattributesidentification

address

The locally defined location of any structure with respect to the street network.

Addresses represent physical locations on a street within a city. If no official address is available, the closest intersection or street is used. Addresses are entered in the local official format, with all names and additional words spelled out fully.

In addition to addresses, individual streets are set up as distinct entities that can be connected to lots, companies, complexes and structures. A street must be a named road capable of handling vehicular traffic. Streets can have directional markers (e.g. North), and official forms (e.g. Avenue, Boulevard). When a street changes its name or form over its course, each version is set up as a separate street. These streets can be linked to each other to show continuity.
