green

The category of green colors covers all shades whose dominant hue is closer to green than to any other basic color. It includes light and dark greens of any brightness or saturation, as well as mixtures of greens with other colors where the overall result is mainly green.

Light mint and dark myrtle remain in the green family. The common hue matters more than their difference in lightness.

Mixtures with other colors are included while their overall appearance is predominantly green. Individual shade entries identify the secondary tint and brightness.
