methodist church
A worship space used for services, prayer, and religious ceremonies by a Methodist congregation.
A Methodist church is a space used for services, prayer, and religious ceremonies by the Methodist denomination of Christianity.
Methodism includes several church bodies, including the United Methodist Church. The term is not restricted to membership in that one organization.
The congregation's Methodist affiliation distinguishes its worship space from an Anglican church or a church of another tradition. Shared prayers or a similar order of service do not remove that distinction.
