panoramic elevators
Elevators with transparent cabin walls that provide views of spaces inside or outside the building.
Panoramic elevators are elevators with any kind of transparent walls offering views of the surrounding area from inside the cabins. Views from panoramic elevators can be inside or outside the building, or both.
A structure can be assigned this feature even if only one of its elevators is panoramic, and the others are not. Elevators with glass floors or ceilings (but opaque walls) do not count as panoramic elevators.
The view through the cabin wall is the defining feature. A glass floor or ceiling gives a different direction of view, and a double-decker elevator describes the stacked cabin arrangement without implying transparent walls.
