ski jumping

A constructed slope placed over a natural slope, used for the practice or performance of ski jumping.

Ski jumping is a sport in which a skiier uses a calibrated slope to launch himself or herself into a long flight, landing again on a regular ski slope.

This usage can apply to outdoor ski jumping platforms as well as to indoor spaces where the entire course of a ski jump is meant to be carried out.
