A romantic revival of Mudéjar or classical Moorish architecture of Spain and North Africa.
Moorish revival architecture is an exoticist revival or design elements from Spain and North Africa. Typical features include striped patterns, bulbous domes and arches, minaret-like towers, and glazed tilework.
This style was used very often for theaters, churches, and synagogues.
