work studio/atelier

Workspace reserved for non-industrial artistic, design, media-production, or other creative activity.

A work studio or atelier is a space reserved for use by artists or creative professionals. Tenant uses may include architecture, sound recording, video production, advertising, painting, and many other endeavors.

The space is designated for creative professionals, such as artists or designers. It can support sound or video production as well as work involving physical art materials.

A place displaying or selling completed artwork has a different principal activity. A studio is identified by the creative work carried out there.
