covid-19 testing
A dedicated site or area where people receive tests for infection with the virus that causes COVID-19.
A COVID-19 testing site is a place dedicated to screening people for COVID-19, using antigen tests or other diagnostic methods, including nucleic acid amplification tests.
These are usually separate from COVID-19 vaccination sites.
The activity is testing for infection, rather than administering a vaccine. Testing and vaccination can be separate areas within a larger health facility.
