garden center
A retail outlet specializing in plants or other gardening supplies, sometimes with greenhouses or outdoor sales areas.
A garden center is a retail outlet which specializes in the sale of plants and/or other gardening supplies. It often includes greenhouses as well as regular retail space, and often outdoor space for some of its wares as well (sometimes varying according to the weather).
Plants and gardening supplies can be sold together or form the specialization separately. A greenhouse is common but is not required.
Outdoor display areas may vary with weather. The retail purpose distinguishes the center from a planted garden used as an amenity.
