The specified indoor temperature maintained in a highly controlled building space or module.
The controlled interior temperature of a building or module is the defined temperature level, expressed in degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit, of the space inside. This field is not applied to normal buildings, where the indoor temperature is stable but variable; it concerns highly controlled environments such as laboratories, greenhouses, warehouses, archives, indoor skiing and ice skating areas, storage facilities, and certain industrial buildings. It can also be applied to particular rooms or modules within a structure.
The value describes the temperature maintained for the space's use, such as cold storage or a laboratory process. A normal occupied room with some variation around a comfort setting does not meet this scope.
Control can apply to one enclosed room even when the rest of the building has ordinary indoor conditions. A temperature for that room does not describe every space in the building.
