expected construction completion
The date on which construction of a structure is currently expected to be completed.
An expected construction completion is a forecast of when construction of a structure will be finished.
The forecast concerns the completion of the work. It does not establish that the event occurred, even after the anticipated date has passed. A revised schedule can change the expectation without changing the actual course of the work.
An actual construction completion identifies when the event happened. Once that date is known, it answers the question of when the work finished; the earlier forecast still describes what was expected at the time.
A forecast may specify a year or quarter without fixing an exact day. Its precision is limited by the announcement or schedule on which it is based.
