Spirituality centers are places for the practice of non-traditional religions. They can be used for gatherings, ceremonies, reflection, meditation, or rituals. These often belong to modern religious or spiritual movements where worship and/or prayer are de-emphasized, at least compared to traditional religious practices.

The space is designated for the practices of a non-traditional religious or spiritual movement. An ordinary social gathering can bring together people with spiritual interests without being a religious ceremony or practice.

Prayer and worship may occur even where they receive less emphasis than meditation or other practices. Their reduced emphasis does not imply their complete absence.
