safety consultant
A company which provides expertise on creating a safe environment for a structure's users.
A safety consultant is a company which plans or advises the developers and designers of a building on accommodating the safety of the building's users. This includes planning for evacuation and various disaster scenarios.
The consultant advises on safety for the people who will use the building. Evacuation and disaster scenarios are included aspects of that planning, rather than a requirement that advice be limited to a single hazard.
Construction security concerns monitoring and protection of the construction site. The safety consultant instead provides planning or advice to the developer and designers about accommodating the building's users.
