Bulk storage of plant seeds intended for sowing and cultivation, excluding harvested seeds held for consumption.
Seed storage facilities are places for bulk storage of plant seeds that are intended to be sown in the ground or in raised beds for cultivation. It does not include grain storage or any other facilities for storing harvested seeds that are intended for consumption.
The seeds are retained to grow plants. Sowing in the ground or in raised beds is included in that cultivation purpose.
Grain storage covers harvested grains and seeds intended for consumption. The intended planting use distinguishes seed storage from that use.
