A bamboo frame is a structural skeleton made of bamboo, a fast-growing member of the grass family. It is generally only suitable for structures of low height, but is a very flexible and economical material.

The bamboo carries loads as part of the framework. Bamboo used only as a finish or furnishing has a different role.

Its plant origin places it within the organic frame family. Wood framing uses timber rather than bamboo, even though both are plant-derived structural materials.
