A retail location renting movies or games, usually on discs, tapes, or electronic storage devices.
A video rental store is a retail location which rents movies or games, usually in the form of discs, tapes, or electronic storage devices.
Games are included as well as recorded movies. The name does not restrict the outlet to videotapes.
The service is rental of the media. A store selling copies outright without renting them does not meet that condition.
