A shop where customers purchase clothing, hats, or similar objects for wearing.
A clothing store is a shop specializing in goods which clothe the body, usually made of cloth or another fabric. This does not include general stores or department stores which sell clothing along with a wider variety of merchandise.
Clothing is the shop's specialization. A general or department store that sells clothing alongside a much wider range remains excluded.
A store can focus on a particular kind of clothing or customer group. The more specific clothing-store entries describe those specializations without changing the overall retail purpose.
