A moving-picture source, with or without sound, whose cited information may be visual, spoken, or otherwise conveyed.
Video source material includes any medium consisting of a moving picture (i.e. series of pictures simulating motion), with or without a soundtrack.
The reliability of video sources may vary enormously. The actual reference within a video source may be photographed or spoken or communicated in any other way. Citations referencing video sources should therefore be accompanied whenever possible by a note providing further details.
The moving-image medium does not by itself identify how the particular fact is conveyed. A visible feature and a spoken claim within the same video require different interpretation, which is why the citation should describe the actual evidence used.
