A cinema is an auditorium or hall dedicated to the exhibition of motion pictures. It includes multiplex cinemas, which are agglomerations of movie theaters in one facility. It does not include drive-in cinemas.
A multiplex combines several movie auditoriums in one facility. The number of screens does not change the motion-picture exhibition purpose.
A drive-in cinema has a separate arrangement for viewers in parked cars. It is expressly excluded from this auditorium or hall usage.
