louvered

A window which is divided into multiple panes which swing open on parallel hinges.

A louvered window consists of several parallel panes which swing open separately. The individual panes may be hinged at the edges or in the middle. Most louvered windows open vertically along horizontal rows, but windows arranged in parallel vertical rows can also be classified in this type.

Louvered windows should not be confused with sunshades or any kind of opaque louvers, which are positioned in front of the actual windows. This type of window is named because it has the form of a louver system, but otherwise it has nothing to do with screening systems.

The parallel panes are the opening window elements themselves. Opaque shading louvers installed in front of separate windows do not establish this window type.
