temporarily closed to the public

A place that is normally open to the public but is currently not accessible.

A place is temporarily closed to the public when it is inaccessible for a period of at least one week. This only applies to places that are normally open to the public, meaning that anybody may enter the place either without cost or for an admission fee.

The closure lasts at least one week and interrupts the place's normal public accessibility. Public access can normally be free or require an admission charge.

The distinction concerns access during the closed period. It does not by itself establish a change in the structure's physical condition or a permanent end to its function.
