A rehearsal space is a structure, area, or site designated especially for rehearsals of any of the performing arts. Performers use such spaces routinely, often in groups, to hone their performances before and between public shows.
Rehearsal spaces are usually not open to audiences.
A music rehearsal space and a dance rehearsal space distinguish the performance being prepared. A show venue has the separate purpose of presenting a program to an audience; occasional practice there does not by itself establish a routinely designated rehearsal space.
