annual admissions revenue

The total fees collected through sales of tickets or admission fees to a place within one year.

The annual admissions revenue of any place is the total amount of money collected within one calendar year (from January 1 through December 31) through ticket sales or admissions fees for entry into that place by paying customers or visitors. This applies especially to sports facilities, entertainment venues, cultural attractions, toll-charging facilities, and other such places.

The value for this field can be entered either as a general average (expressed in U.S. dollars at current value), or as a time-limited value for any particular calendar year expressed in U.S. dollars valued as of the time specified.

The total concerns money from admission, rather than the number of visits. Free visits can increase attendance without adding admissions revenue, and different ticket prices prevent a visitor count alone from determining the amount.
