minigolf

A compact golf course where players hit balls through creative obstacles into small holes.

A minigolf course is an area where players hit golf balls a short distance into holes across a tight configuration of challenges, such as ramps, turns, and obstacles of various kinds. The site is far more restricted than a full golf course, occupying only a tiny fraction of the area. Obstacles tend to be whimsical and highly creative, often varying completely from course to course.

Like regular golf, the object of the game is to hit the ball with a long narrow golf club from the tee into the hole in as few strokes as possible. The game is scored by totalling the number of strokes over the whole course, with the lowest score winning.
