A main entrance is approached from outside by walking or moving up a ramp.

An entrance approach is described as 'ramp up' when one or more pedestrian main entrances to a built object are reached from outside by walking, rolling on wheels, or otherwise moving up an inclined ramp. This ramp may be right at the entrance, or some distance away on the same property.
