precast concrete

A precast concrete roof frame is an underlying support framework for a roof built out of precast concrete beams, slabs, or other elements constructed from precast concrete.

The precast concrete elements form the underlying roof support. Beams and slabs are examples rather than the only possible forms.

Precasting describes how the concrete elements are made. This entry does not impose an absence of reinforcement or redefine the separate reinforced-concrete material entry.
