group of structures
A defined collection of proximate structures which belong to a single development or whose modules overlap significantly.
A group of structures is any collection of buildings which act together as if they were a single building in some respects. Frequently these are built together as single developments, or they may arise when several buildings are united by a common usage zone (as defined by modules). Structures in a group should be near each other, but need not be directly adjacent. They can be defined by a clear boundary, but this is not a necessary condition.
The structures have a shared relationship that allows the collection to function as a larger whole in some respects. Proximity is required, while direct adjacency and a single enclosing boundary are not.
A common development or shared usage can establish that relationship. The group retains several structures rather than turning every nearby building into one structure.
