Usage events are milestones and noteworthy occurrences associated with the usage, occupancy, management, maintenance, and related activities in an object. These occur mostly during the existence phase of an object, but some events (such as leasing transactions) may occur even before construction.
The event concerns how the object is occupied or operated. It can occur without a change to the physical structure.
Its timing is not confined to completed use. A leasing transaction can concern future occupancy before the object itself has entered construction.
