RIL Prize

The prize is given by RIL for Finnish civil engineering achievement in construction work, projects, or concepts, covering buildings, bridges, and infrastructure.

The field is broad enough for a building to be considered alongside works that are not buildings. The eligible completion period and selection arrangements are set for each competition.

The recognition concerns the engineering achievement of the submitted work. It can acknowledge a construction concept as well as a completed physical project, and is distinct from an award for an individual engineer's career.
