The admission fee for any usage zone is the amount of money charged to a member of the public to enter it. This is broken down into basic categories for different ages and access levels. This field is only applied to a usage zone which would be likely to charge some fee (e.g. a museum or an observation deck). It could also be applied to toll roads as a usage fee. Admission fees can be zero, but would not be applied to usages like residential buildings or offices, where no admission fee is expected.

An admission fee is quoted in a currency and applies to a particular time. A later price change does not alter the amount that applied earlier.

Eligibility can be set by venue policy or applicable law. Where a museum ends its child rate at 12 and another at 18, both are recorded as the child fee, so two values in the same field can describe different groups of people.

A reduced fee that requires proof, such as a student card or a disability card, is still the fee for that category. Whether a visitor can produce the proof is not part of what this field records.
