A defibrillator available to anyone at a place, capable of delivering an electrical shock for certain cardiac-arrest rhythms.
A defibrillator is a device that delivers an electrical shock to treat certain abnormal heart rhythms during cardiac arrest. These are often mounted to walls behind safety glass like fire extinguishers. They are listed for an object when at least one defibrillator is available to anyone within that place.
At least one device must be available to anyone within the place. A wall cabinet is a common storage arrangement rather than a required form.
An automated external defibrillator analyzes the heart rhythm and determines whether a shock is indicated. Defibrillation does not apply to every cardiac-arrest rhythm.
