Martin-Elsaesser-Plakette
An architecture award of the Frankfurt chapter of the German architects' association.
The plaque is awarded for buildings in and around Frankfurt, named after the city planner and architect Martin Elsaesser.
Its scope is regional, so its absence says nothing about a building outside that area.
The jury considers completed buildings of different sizes and uses within the eligible region. The plaque recognizes the work of the architects and the client together, rather than a professional career independent of a particular project.
