The combined length of merchandise display windows facing sidewalks or interior passageways.
The length of display windows is the cumulative length of sidewalk-facing or interior-passageway-facing windows used for displaying the wares for sale in a store or other mercantile entity.
Several separate display windows contribute to one cumulative length. The longest individual window alone does not give the total when other qualifying windows are present.
The window must display goods for sale. An ordinary office window facing the same sidewalk has a different purpose and does not contribute to the merchandise-display length.
