snowboarding
A site designated for sliding down a snow-covered slope on a board attached to the rider's feet.
A snowboarding location is a place with a sloped surface of substantial length where persons can slide down on a board attached to their feet when the slope is covered with snow. Snowboarding may be recreational or competitive, and usually takes place in outdoor locations in cold climates. Snowboarders use special boots which can be bound to the boards.
The slope has substantial length for descent on a snowboard. The rider's feet attach to the board through boots and bindings.
Recreation and competition are both included. Outdoor cold-climate locations are usual without imposing an outdoor-only condition.
