Energy-producing devices affixed to a structure or its grounds, which convert wind energy into power.
Wind turbines are rotary machines which move in the wind and harness wind energy for conversion into electricity or mechanical power. These are regarded as a green feature, contributing to a structure's environmental sustainability.
The rotary device converts wind movement into useful power. The output can be mechanical power or electricity.
As a structure feature, the device is associated with the structure or its grounds. A decorative rotor without useful energy conversion does not establish a wind turbine.
