Directly connected with the Christian faith or operated by an organization belonging to it.
A Christian affiliation is applied to a place (other than a church) that has a direct connection with, or belongs to, the Christian faith or any of its denominations.
The direct connection can be with Christianity generally or one of its denominations. The place can retain a separate primary function while belonging to the faith or its organizations.
A church already identifies Christian worship through its use. This affiliation concerns other places whose religious connection is not itself their worship-space function.
