autowalk speed (max)
The maximum speed for any horizontal or inclined autowalk in a defined area.
The maximum autowalk speed is the highest speed reached by any autowalk within a defined structure or area. If the autowalk is inclined, the speed is taken across its own path, i.e. along the hypotenuse of the right triangle that its path forms over an even horizontal line.
This is the value for a single installation, the largest in the object, and not a figure for the object as a whole. The others in the same building may be far smaller, so the value describes one unit and never an average.
Where the largest is replaced or removed, the value belongs to the next largest rather than staying with the one that is gone.
