taxi parking
A place designated for temporary storage or idling of taxicabs when not in service.
A taxi parking area is a place specially designated for taxicabs to wait, queue up, idle, or be parked when they are not carrying passengers or in transit.
Waiting or queuing is included along with leaving a taxi parked. The vehicles are not carrying passengers or traveling through the area at that time.
A roadway used by passing taxis is vehicle traffic space. The parking use requires a place specially designated for taxis to wait or stand.
