CTBUH Best Tall Building Worldwide

The Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat's overall award for the best tall building of the year.

The worldwide award is chosen from the regional winners, so a building can only receive it after winning its own region first.

Judging covers how the building meets its site and its city, not height alone. A shorter building regularly beats a taller one.

The Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat is the body that also decides how tall buildings are measured, so its awards and its height rankings come from the same organization.
