Space for bulk storage of raw plant fibers, especially for use in cloths and textiles.
Fiber storage facilities are places for bulk storage of unprocessed plant fibers, such as cotton, flax, or hemp, mainly for use in textiles, upholstery, bedding, and similar products. This does not include warehouse spaces for storage of finished cloth products.
The fibers remain plant-derived raw materials before manufacture into cloth or other products. Cotton, flax, and hemp are examples of the included materials.
Finished cloth products in a warehouse are excluded. The distinction is between the unprocessed fiber commodity and the manufactured textile article.
