Definitions

wood oven

Heat is generated by burning wood in a closed oven on the site.

A wood oven heating system indicates that heat is generated throughout a building using one or multiple chambers which burn wood and distribute the heat from the fire. This can imply either a central oven serving much of the building, or separate wood ovens in individual floors or units. It is distinguished from a fireplace, where the fire from burning wood is openly exposed to the heated space.
