sailboat rental

A sailboat rental facility is a place where boats propelled mainly by wind sails can be rented. The boats may also have motors to provide power when the air is too calm for sailing.

Sails must provide the main form of propulsion. An auxiliary motor for calm conditions does not exclude the boat.

Rowboat rental concerns manual propulsion by oars or paddles. The sailboat category depends on the principal propulsion, not the absence of every other source of power.
