LEED
The green building certificate of the US Green Building Council, awarded at four levels by points earned.
LEED, Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, rates a building on energy, water, materials, site and indoor quality. Points earned across those areas decide the level.
Four levels exist: Certified, Silver, Gold and Platinum. This value records a certificate whose level is unknown; where the level is known, use it instead.
A certificate applies to a version of the rating system and to one scope, which may be the building's construction, its interior, or its operation. The same building can hold several.
