photo at night
An exterior photo taken when the sky is dark enough that interior lights are visible from outside.
A night photo is an exterior photograph taken at night or during twilight, normally when lights are already turned on inside. A photograph taken during a solar eclipse may also be classified as a night photo.
Twilight is included alongside full night, so complete darkness is not required. Interior lights are normally visible in the exterior view and help distinguish the lighting condition from a daytime photograph.
The stated solar-eclipse exception allows a photograph taken during that event to be classified with night photographs. An interior image does not acquire this exterior-photo category simply because it was taken at night.
