entrance

A point connecting a structure with the surrounding open traffic network for passage of people, vehicles, or goods.

An entrance is any point where persons, vehicles, or goods are intended to pass into or out of a structure. Entrances should be pinpointed with geocoordinates of these points, treating multiple doors to the same room from a similar direction as one point.

Each entrance must be an interface between the structure and the open traffic networks surrounding it. Doorways into courtyards or onto sealed plazas or yards do not count as entrances.

The passage crosses between the structure and its surrounding traffic network. Several doors to the same room from a similar direction can form one entrance point, rather than one point per door.
