A juice bar is a place specializing in serving fruit drinks to customers from behind a counter, usually for consumption on the premises. Drinks may include juices, nectars, smoothies, blends, punches, or other mainly non-alcoholic drinks.
Juices, nectars, blends, and other fruit drinks are included. The selection need not consist solely of freshly squeezed juice.
Consumption on the premises is usual rather than an absolute requirement. A shop selling packaged drinks for customers to take home has the separate beverage-retail function.
