A service club is a non-profit social organization whose members meet regularly for camaraderie with a focus on performing charitable works or raising funds for charitable causes. These are sometimes affiliated with religious denominations or organizations. Many of them are large international networks with hundreds or thousands of branches worldwide.

Regular social contact accompanies a charitable purpose. Members can perform charitable work directly or raise funds for charitable causes.

Religious affiliation and membership in a larger network are possible without being required. The service purpose distinguishes the organization from a social club with no charitable focus.
